He's not a typical Tuxedo black and white cat but he is black and white with a black tummy. In all my years of Animal Control (you're right!) I don't think they come that way!

Welcome ACO.
Looking at how you have you img signs at the beginning and end of your picture it looks like they should be reversed -- the slash in the end img.
Just a suggestion. Hope it helps. |

From what I've read, the signature of a Tuxedo cat is a distinctive inverted V pattern with the face being mainly white with the inverted V in black on it's forehead between the ears.
I've never seen a Tuxedo with a black belly though.
Here's my baby with a good example of the V head pattern...

Socks has a white tummy, too. That is interesting about the black tummy thing.

He actually has more of a van pattern (named for the turkish van) than tuxedo. It's basically the color on the top of the head with the inverted V and color on the tail with a few spots being allowed on the back. The color on the head normally goes from about the eye line, between the ears and down to the base of the neck.
Romeo is a turkish van (except he's "flawed" because he only has color on the tip of his tail and he has a tiny black spot on his nose).
I think the tuxedo pattern is more of an inverted V that goes all the way down the face and into a white chest like this:

Monty would've been a Tuxedo cat if he were black and white.
