I have tried (unsuccessfully) to stop my 6 year old male westie from soiling on the kitchen floor. He does this overnight regularly - we let him out in the garden before we go to bed and when we go into the kichen where he sleeps at around 7.00 am the next morning - he has soiled the floor again.

He is fed at regular times and taken for walks every day.

Any suggestions please would be most gratefully appreciated.

Thanks (Smile

Do you go out with him at night and make sure he's going to the bathroom?? If I don't go out, my dogs will just hop around and bark at the night. I have to encourage them and tell them good girls and then give them a treat when we come in.

Or...you could leave down a wee wee pad at night. Much easier to clean up. I do that too, just in case. Lots of times, I can just pick it back up because they haven't used it. But I'd rather have it down there.

Good Luck!
