| Do Shih poos shed? I had thought not but it appears as though my puppy is shedding. He is losing his fur in patches because of allergies, but this appears to be more of an all over thing. |

| I think shedding in both breeds is very minimal. Allergies or other skin problems would likely cause hair loss though which is'nt really the same as shedding. |

to me, that doesnt' sound like shedding... I would call and ask your vet.
I have 2 shih tzus and no, they don't shed. |

| Correct, shihpoos don't shed, per se. They do lose a LITTLE... but nothing that's considered shedding. If your dog is losing in clumps, you should call your vet... you're right.. it sounds like allergies.... is he/she licking a lot??? |
