and I now have 2 more!!!
Will post pictures later. It's been confusing cause the 2 I evaulated and pulled from a shelter in VT were supposed to go to CT and I was supposed to get one that was pulled from a shelter in CT. My hubby only wants me to foster one at a time since we adopted Dixie.
Problem is we can get my 2 to Worcester, MA but no further, and the once is CT we can't get to Worcester. So I'm biting the bullet (well dodging actually) and taking the 2. I'm sure I'll have to deal with male meltdown soon but I've survived them before good learning experience.
Besides these 2 cats won't be in the program long.
The younger one, Baby, is a 9 year old hyperactive chocolate point who would be on ritalyn if she were a kid. Hilarious cat...she never stops moving.
The other one, a 10 year old sealpoint Lady, is terrified and not feeling well right now. I'm syringe feeding her. She settles down once she gets on a lap but she's so scared my heart breaks for her.
Their owner had 10 dogs, 2 Persians and them. The dogs and Persians got adopted quickly but these 2 ladies were in a shelter for 2 months. Baby couldn't care less where she is as long as someone is petting her, Lady on the other hand needs lots of TLC to get over her fears. She'll get it.
Wish me luck...Lady is going to be tough |
