My neice and I were driving in Mackay on a highway - way out in the middle of nowhere......it was dusk and we saw something TINY and black scamper across the road.....narrowly missed being hit by a huge truck coming in the opposite direction.......as we got closer we realized it was a little tiny KITTEN! we pulled right over......i gently scooped her up into my arms and we brought her home....for keeps. by the way, we looked all over the area for her momma......she was entirely alone. now she has a home.
her so cute..her so widdle! her name is HIGHWAY. |

| Sounds like this kitten was lucky you found her. Now she will have a good home. I can't believe people would leave an animal out on a road to fend for themself. |

| yeah.....she's getting more relaxed and confident now...in our house.......she was sooooo skeered when we first brought her home....now she practically owns the place! my niece will be keeping her. Highway is her name and we had looked all over for her momma before taking her into the car......no momma.....so we took her.....theres wild animals out there and they get hit all the time on the highway.....she was so tiny....we almost didn't see her as she scampered across the road. she buried herself underneath some brush.....and i gently got her out. she's VERY playful now. |

Congratulations on your new addition to your family. I truly believe that God puts people in certain places at specfic times. He put you on that highway, so "HIGHWAY" could have a safe, loving home. As soon as you can, we would love to see some pic's of this new little kitty. Enjoy your new little one. |

I believe that too....about God. my niece and I were driving there at the very moment the tiny kitty scampered across the highway..........not an hour before....or after....but at the same moment. The kitty's mamma was probably hit by a car or gone or dead.........and along we came. barely seeing the little baby cuz of dusk.......
i agree with you. |
