Maraya....I foster Siamese cats for a rescue group http://www.siameserescue.org
MaiTai is my 13 year old blind siamese foster kitty Your the best
she's been my longest foster to date - she's been here since last March.
MaiTai, the Siamee shown below, came to me with a black and white kitty named Dixie Chick (shown below). Their owner had passed away after being in a coma for some time. A neighbor had been caring for the cats, although not giving them any attention, in the hopes the owner would come out of her coma and come home. She didn't. The landlord said get them out or they are out on the street (goatlicker). Siamese Rescue was contacted and here they came. I'm the only foster for them in New Hampshire. Friday I go to Vermont to evaluate my next two fosters Surprised a 2 year old chocolate point and her 1 year old daughter - their owner also passed away.
Here is MaiTai....leaving me soon. And her former companion, Dixie Chick....my girl now.

Mai Tai is a very pretty kitty.

It must be sad to give up kitties you get attached to. I don't think I could do it. I give you a lot of credit for what you do. It is a wonderful thing.

it's hard to have one that long and let them go - but I can help save more that way. And I like doing it. MaiTai isn't afraid of feet anymore, she's decided she is a lapcat, she has started playing with toys. I love watching the progress knowing my family has been instrumental in helping a cat become a cat. And we really do nothing but offer lots of love, time and we simply get the cats be what they are.
