I recently bought a vacuum to help with Luna's hair, and I ended up getting this Bissell for $70 new:

According to the above link, it's now $59. I'm extremely pleased with mine. It uses a bagless triple reusable filtration system, and it does a good job of picking up cat hair.

I love my Dyson yellow vacuumer. I had it for 2 years and it lost some suction. But I still adore it. It picks up lots of hair and fur and dust!

a turbo head will pick up the hair fairly well. only problem is you have to clean them every so often otherwise it clogs up and wont spin.

a bissell for 70 or 59 bucks??? Shocked Shocked Shocked
you cant even get a no name vacuum for that price!!!!

You should stay away from all department store vacum cleaners
they are made to fail since the invasion of wally world 'walmart'
Iv been in the vacuum industry for 25 years you will spen alot more for vacuum over a ten year period with one of those pieces of junk than going to a local vacuum cleaner specialist buy one good vacuum that last 10-15 years
for three to four hunded than buying four or five vacuum over that time from
a department store

We're remodeling and have really put a few vacuums through a major workout (and pretty much killed them in the process). I've heard really good things about the Dyson and that's probably the next one we'll get.
