Last night around 1am I woke up to rain pounding on the windows. We already have 3 feet of snow and moved all the horses in yesterday after noon but it was 20 below this morning so i got up ( feeling sick i might add) and had to go out to the rescue and horse barns and turn on the heat since even though the doors were shut and the horses were blanketed it was freezing. Yeah so once i got up for good around five the rain had fallen and then froze over the snow Rolling Eyes . Which meant Barn and car doors were frozen shut Confused . So i have spent most of the morning with my dad and brother breaking away the ice around the barn doors and digging paths in the back yard for the dogs to go to the bathroom. I love snow but not when its like this.

Yup Yup... Got three frustrated Boerboels in crates because it's -2 so far... Yesterday was the "trial" run and Precious didn't make it... She escaped from the bottom of her wire crate...yah...so I have her in there with a Kong full of penut butter and some more toys...PRAYING that she doesn't kill my crate trying to escape today... They CAN'T stay out for the day in this...

Jack the Appy is blanketted and I'm worried I might have to steel his to put on the Arab out at my mom's...he's equipped though with HUGE long guard hairs and fat (not much) and a barn...been through it so should be okay... HOPE I don't have to haul him into town for a stay at the stables...that'd be hell cuz he gets so agitated when penned up... HOPE today is the LAST of this sub zero CRAP! No rain THANK GOD but snow...

My car died likely for good so I'm ALSO looking for a new car....AND I'm under the weather as well.... STUCK here at work...

The snow is great especially when you have to drive to work Your the best

The funny thing is I didn't even know it snowed last night. I went to put Rocky out this morning, took one look out the window and said that I better not because I might just lose him.

There were about 200 (not kidding, OPP reports) accidents on the highways and atleast 10 TTC buses got stuck in the snow. There's alteast a foot of snow in my driveway (not complaining I don't know what I'd do with 3 feet) and my car, 1990 Toyota Corolla, could hardly make it out of the driveway Crying or Very sad .

Then my boss' wiper on his car broke so he had to take it to the shop to get fixed and then I had to go pick him up to take him to work.

It's drizzling a little outside but I just hope we don't get a flash freeze because getting home tonight will be like driving on glass if we do.

OH man. And I thought I had it bad!!! Its 33'F here, my horses were looking at me when I got home last night like they were just being tortured with the cold...LOL
Rolling Eyes

I'd love to see snow. But down here, Its highly unlikely. So the weather man is doing the same damn thing he does EVERY year, and is "Predicting Snow!' Of course only on CHristmas....I don't know why he thinks its "funny" or even "cute". Just gives all our hopes up! Crying or Very sad

Sams right. Forcast for tomorrow in Houston is for possible light snow, but more probably it will be sleet and frozen roads. Tomorrow I will be driving from Houston to Baton Rouge. (See Sams Map). Nothing like you guys up north are getting but remember is all realtive. Down here 30 degrees is considered life threatening. Very Happy
