Converted a hater to a lover!

SO over the weekend we hung out with my sister and her new boyfriend (whom I graduated with, but thats another story!!!) Anyhow. Jimmy, her BF, has an awsome pit named Poochie. He's a tri colored Blk, Brn, White pit. The most wonderful pet a person could have!!! He gets along great with their 10 yo yorkie and their 6 yo red heeler mix.

Well, Granvel, my significant other, has always loved dogs, but fell into the media hype that all pits are bad...anyone that owned one was asking for trouble, should only have one to hunt, ect.....

So He met Poochie, played with him, and fell in absolute LOVE with him!!! He got to asking Jimmy what breed he was.
*SLAP* to my face!!! I was like Uh, honey, he's a pit.....

He argued with me forever about it!!! Then Jimmy brought out his lap top got on it and we showed him photos on this thread, all about the breed on UKC and AKC..... and showed him poochies papers.

So, he now understands and really likes the pits and now and Saras dogs. The BB's as I call them!!!

Wow that is so great! Its usually that like a SLAP in the face when "haters" meet them without even knowing their meeting a Pit. Its probably one of the best ways to convert them. I'm so happy for both of you.
