Good Morning and Hi! I am new to the board and I was hoping for some advice on my new puppies that will be coming home in January Surprised

My entire family has had and raised Boxers for years and I am getting my first 2 in a couple months. I picked a boy and a girl. They were just born on Wednesday. I am very excited yet very nervous.

I am moving into a new built home in Dec and I have a 14 month old who DEALRY seems to enjoy ALL animals.

I was advised to make sure I crate train them, does anyone agree with this???
Any information on anything in raising Boxer puppies would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
Johnna

Hi and welcome to the boards...

I take it you will be getting both puppies desexed when they are old enough to stop the risk of a litter..

There is alot of people on here that have or have owned boxers so they will give you lots of information...

Puppies we all love puppies you will have to post some pictures when you bring the little sweeties home..

Again welcome and enjoy you stay.

Thanks and I hope to be an active part in this board.

Hi and welcome, i would do a search on crate training. its the best way to train and housebreak especially 2! Just beware you may have some problems wih raising 2 of the same litter. I posted a great articlde on it awhile back and now I cant find it. but it talked things like about agression problems, etc. And one of the most importants ones is they get trained differently than ifyou were just getting one pup. I will see if I can find it and post for you

Welcome to the Board!!! Crate Training is definately something you should look into as well as the mutliple dog dynamics specifically multiples of the bully breeds like Boxers. Read up on it as much as possible and ask us a million and one questions of any kind... Everyone here is very knowledgeable about dogs in general and bully breeds specifically as well as boxers!!! Good luck and we can't wait for pics of the puppies!!!
