| i just noticed alittle while ago when i was playing with my dog sheeva she has a lump the size of a nickle on her nose what could it be this scares me is it cancerous should i take her to the vet im scared i have NO CLUE what happened it wasnt there yesterday when i was out ruffin with her .............oh and another thing i thought id share with everyone while im posting...........is it wrong to play tug with my dog .........i have an old camo shirt that i play tug with my pitbull sheeva its her favorite thing to do but last night while playing with her a woman stopped and told me i should knock it off because i was making my dog visciuos about a half an hour later the cops show up at my door!! i asked them what the problem was and they told me so i brought my dog out and showed them how i play with her he said it was fine but whenever that lady goes by now and im out with her she starts hollering and hootin about a damned "VISCIUOS" pitbull that no one but me (( yeah right)) can get near.........but thats not true sheeva will litterally lick you to death shes a lover |

| I can't help you with the lump on her nose - I'd take her to the vet to have it looked at. As for playing tug-of-war with her, I see no problem with that at all. I don't think young puppies should be played with too rough, but even some light tug-of-war should be okay for little ones. 2 of my dogs absolutely love to play fetch and tug-of war. The others could care less. But the two I play tug-of war with are no more agressive or dominant than the ones who don't play tug-of-war. |

| There are many possibilities on what it could. If she is rather young, then I would rule out any type of cancerous mass. If it just popped up out of nowhere it could be a bug bite of some type, or if your dog eats out of plastic bowls, that could be the problem. MANY dogs are allergic to plastic dog bowls. If your dog is allergic then there will redness on the nose and snout, and some hairloss. In extreme cases there will be the redness but more hairloss, swelling, and bumps. If it hasn't gone away, then I would suggest taking your dog to the vet. |
