| I have a whole bunch of baby budgies but my problem is that I can't hand tame them for some reason. At first they would let me hold them but would only fly out of my hands when I openned them. Now they try to nip at me any chance they get and I'm struggling to get them tamed. Any suggests? |

Hi the problem with chicks is when they are little they will allow you to hold them but as they get older they dont like it if there is alot of them together.
It is easier to hand tame 1 maybe 2 together but when you have lots your going to find it hard.

| I get where your going with this, cause that's what I do with my other birds but now for some reason these ones are totally scared of me, and I can't for some reason calm them down and hand tame them! |

Hi most baby birds prefer the company of other birds, Other babies love nothing more than to be handled and petted from there owners.
Patience and time is what it will take to get them calm again standing talking calmly and slowly touching them without startling them see how they go.
But i know its going to be hard my babies were fine at first then when they went out into the aviary with the other birds they did not want to know me even though i still handled them daily.
