| my angels are fanning thier eggs . they actually laid eggs my ammonia finally went down from 8.0 to 1.0they look fine the female looks a little tired could it be from laying eggs or may she be sick they have already eaten more than half of them I found the eggs this morning I was very excited still dont know if the other one is a male. the eggs are like a pink or salmon color |

the male usually has a dent in his nose like a dip and the females will be a bit strait

The way to sex angels is when the are close to one another, the vent of the male will be narrower then the vent on the female.
It may also be that there are two females laying unfertilised eggs, but if only one is fanning, id assume you have a pair.

| If the eggs are not fertilized they will turn white. Most times the male will be the one to fan the eggs. |

| well i think i saw both faning the eggs a couple turned white like about ten of them. Then they ate them all so I have none. the thing that sticks out dont know what its called one of them has it about 1/4 inch the other one bearly has a point |

It sounds like your talking about the papilla or most commonly called the breeding tube. The female breeding tube is more blunt and larger to allow the eggs to pass thriugh while the male's tube will be smaller and shaped more like the tip of a pencil. |
