I am one of the Supervisors of the Checklist in my town and this is a busy time of year with town elections, school board meetings, etc. Luckily it's a paying gig or I wouldn't commit to this sort of thing. Right now it's car rental money to go to Rescue's spring fling. Which I've never been too and I'm very much looking forward to going - expect the drive to VA from NH, and back.
Yesterday was voting and I was there from 7am to 7:30pm Shocked and one night last week, after working all day, the school board meeting didn't end until midnight!!!
The nice part is getting home cause the cats have missed their meowmy. I sit on the sofa and Missy curls up on my lap, Tilly on the back of the sofa behind my head, Dixie beside me with her excess leaning on my leg and Zeus sits on the end table beside me (notice Missy gets the closest spot).
Then they all sleep with me.
I don't like being gone all day but the advantages when I get home are sweet.

That's what I love about my fur family.... Surprised Surprised You can be gone all day and when you come home they are not mad that you haven't been there. They are glad that the rest of their family is home and want to be as close to you and tell you about their day. Uncondictional love..... Mr. Green Surprised How sweet it is.

It's so nice to come home to your kitties after a hard day. I agree, they do give you unconditional love.

My bf has told me that the animals start moving around about the time I should be getting home. Buster goes from laying down to sitting at the patio door looking for my vehicle!!! And when he see's me pull up he goes bizerk!! Mr. Green Starts whimpering and bouncing all over. It is real cute I've watched Buster do this when the bf comes home as well....

There's nothing like warm, cuddly, cute little greeters when you come home after a long day at work. Surprised
