this one is a new documentary he is. It's basically about how scientists, with high degrees, don't take him seriously. He studies bears by physically observing them, spending his days with them.
Many scientists, with degrees, fly around in planes and observe bears from a distance (I could break out in song "from a distance there will be harmony")
they think he takes too many risks. But as we all know - most of us learn best by observing. They just don't take him seriously cause he didn't spend years in college

that's the problem with Scientists they have all the book smarts but if you don't get out there and study them up close and not from a plane you'll never actually learn their behavior. But since they went to college they feel that they know everything (yea everything a book will teach you...) Silly people.

The scientists are just jealous they aren't at the site studying the bears so they'll discredit others to make themselves feel better. Mr. Green

I had a professor in university that was amazing. He taught Natural History of Ontario and got right in there with the animals (and plants) he was studying. His course was amazing! Even though it had nothing to do with my degree, I had to take it. He spends days in Algonquin Park (huge national park in Ontario) studying bears and moose and wolves. Once our kids are older we're going to join him on his annual wolf call in the park. If you ever see a show on a nature channel called "Wild by Nature", that's him. Going on a wolf call..... how fun!! All of these nature guys that go out in the wild and studies the animals in their natural habitat... I think that it is so wonderful!! I can't think of a better way to learn about them than that!! Surprised
