prompting a rushed visit to the vet.
I went home at lunch and she greeted me at the door not stepping on her right front paw. She does that if she steps in something wet and it rained all day yesteray. So I picked her up and wiped off her paws thinking she may have stepped in some water.
She continued to limp. So I checked her claws, all was well there. Nothing overly grown.
So off to the vet.
She apparently sprained her elbow somehow!! Probably caught a claw on something when she jumped down and extended her leg hurting her elbow attempting to free herself.
So if she's still limping by Thursday she needs x-rays.
I carried her everywhere last night. My poor little sweetie. The limp wasn't as bad this morning and I'm making sure she gives her leg plenty of R&R.

Poor kitty. I hope she gets better soon and won't have to have x-rays.

Yeah, it must hurt pretty bad for a cat to limp. They seem so much better at hiding their pain than dogs...or people.

Hope she's on the mend real soon!
