Hey everyone... I took a homegrown radish cut it into quarters and hung it from the roof of the cage... a couple of my budgies are playing with the root right now, and nibbleing on the radish, do you guys see a problem with this?? As I have also heard that birds like hot peppers?? is this true i have searched everywhere and cant find info on those

I would never give my budgies peppers as some birds can have a reaction to them.
Radishes are fine in small amounts and should only be given 1-2 times per week.
Peppers and spicey things like that are all part of the cockatiel, Parrot, Cockatoo Diet.

Ahh thanks mike, thought I saw that somewhere... They were just playing with the leaves of the radish anywyas hehe..
