Piper's Dad and I are leaving for vacation on Sunday (sans the kids or Piper!). We sat down this week with our attorney to make out our Wills - just in case... In the process of making sure our children and my grandmother are taken care of, we decided that Piper's care deserved the same careful planning - especially because she is an APBT and I don't trust a stranger to put her well-being first. We added a "Piper Provision" that very specifically covers several different scenario's in case the need should arise. Have any of you thought about / discussed / or made this same decision or does this sound really silly to everyone but me?

I think it's a great idea. I know I would want to make sure Annie was taken care of in case of an unexpected event. Considering the breed and the recent wave of BSL nonsense, I would hate to think of what could happen to my wonderful "child" if I didn't specify a place for her to go.
p.s. have a great vacation!

Piper's Mom I think that is a great idea. There is nothing silly about it. I would also want my baby girl to be well taking care of also. So this is something I would like to do myself especially with all this BSL craziness. I woud hate to think something bad happen to Kiyahna because I didnt make the proper arrangment. again nothing silly about your idea...Lilpitz

I'd never considered this. As much sense as it makes, I just never thought about it. When I finalize my will, there will now be a provision for my dogs. Have a safe a fun vacation!
