i have a 4 month old pit bull pup named buster, i've noticed in the morning he sits up and gives out a yawn or a growl, its cute and funny to watch because he will look right at me as he's doing it then he comes up and licks me...any ways, is it a yawn or a howl? and why does he do it?

if he looks like hes yawning then its a yawn. a noisey yawn! lol. my dog is very vocal about yawning too.
