Buster licked a bowl of banana & PB mix Very Happy No fear and I didnt have to hold the bowl! One of his favorite Kong stuffings and I made a bit too much. Instead of washing it down the sink, I dropped the bowl between Busters front paws as he was laying on the kitchen floor watching my every move (cant open the PB jar without his nose in the way!). Instead of bolting, he went to town licking the bowl clean.

I realize this sounds silly to some but this pup of mine showed a fear of bowls right after he came home. While he'll drink just fine, he refused to have anything to do with food in a bowl. We'd leave food out all day and he'd starve himself simply because it was in a bowl. Dump the bowl on the floor and he had no issues eating (which is how we've been feeding him). He'll be 7 months old next week and we finally got him to eat mushy treats from a bowl!

Thats awesome!!! gradually start mixing in his food now... maybe you'll be able to have him eating out of the bowl with no problems in no time!!!

Gotta do what works. Sometimes the "how to" methods don't work and you have to go out of the norm... conventinal is not for everyone. LOL
