Hi - Fagan has for some or other very strange reason has taking to s**k the bars of his cage, could anybody out there explain as to why he has started to do this. He is at the moment going through a "breeding" stage, where he's very possesive about his toys and making as if he charming a lady friend. Has this got something to do with his odd behaviour??

I have never known a bird to s**k the cage bars. Some sort of chew on them and they do that because of boredom.

I wouldn't worry too much aslong as he is eating and drinking well and showing no signs of illness, Like sitting fluffed up, Breathing different to normal, can't keep his eyes open...
