Hello everyone,

I'm new to auspet and WHEW have I had a lot to post. I guess it is due to the fact I have a lot of animals lol. I love them and all of my current pets are rescues though I do not plan to get anymore in the near future! Anyhow on to the kitties! Both my girls were strays that I took in after going door to door with them throughout my whole town to ask if they belonged to anyone.

Moonie and Jazzy were thin and very scared of people the first time I saw them, a day after I had moved into our new house. They would run out in the road often and had quite a few close calls, they just weren't doing good. Finally I set out some wet cat food and they started coming around more and more. Eventually I started sitting on the porch while they were eating. Soon they became okay with me sitting right by the dish but I couldn't touch them. They gradually got fatter but their long fur was matted badly and I just couldn't stand to see them this way but every time I tried to grab them they took off. I wasn't fast enough.

Soon I tried hand feeding them, they were leery at first but after a while it worked. They slowly gained my trust and I caught them, took them around to see if they belonged to anyone though I doubted it. They didn't and so they have been with us ever since. They are beautiful girls, I believe domestic long hairs. Moonie is Black and Orange and Jazzy is tiger stripped. I believe they are older as they both have teeth missing but they are both full of spunk! I hope to post pictures as soon as I have enough posts! Thanks for taking the time to read!

Malissa.

I have quite a crew myself Shocked
Missy my sealpoint Siamese will be 14 on July 5th. I got her when she was nearly 2 years old. She is my shadow
Tilly bluepoint Siamese who is now 10 years old. She was a little over a year when she came to live with us.
Dixie Chick my 12 (although I don't think that old) year old tuxedo kitty who came in via Siamese Rescue (long story) and discovered we have deli and stayed.
Zeus - ahhhh Zeus - my 7 year old (next year) only boy pet in the house. He's a polydactyl orange tabby. Only existing cat I have had since kittenhood. He is a piece of work that one.
Molly, my GSD will be 4 years old July 5th (she and Missy have the same b-day 10 years apart). I got her from Michigan. Her foster mom asked me if I'd like to adopter her when our elderly previous GSD passed.
And fosters...Siamese cats. I foster for Siamese Rescue out of Virginia.
Yup - they keep ya busy and smiling
