HI
I HAVE RECENTLY BOUGHT A COCKATEIL THAT HAS BEEN HAND REARED IT IS THE BEST EVER
THE COCKATEIL HAS ONLY BEEN OUT THE NEST FOR 2 WEEKS
I OPEN THE CAGE DOOR AND IT COMES STRAIGHT TO ME
I DID ASK THE PEOPLE I GOT IT FROM IF IT WAS M/F BUT THEY SAID IT WAS TO SOON TO TELL
IT HAS A YELLOW FACE WITH ORANGE SPOTS ON THE CHEEKS
WHAT IS MY COCKATEIL. Surprised

Hi and congratulations on the baby tiel. Until after tehre first molt at 6month old you won't really be able to tell as they do not start getting there adult feathers till then.

If the baby only been out the nest 2 weeks that means it is roughly around 6-8 weeks old and is too young to be able to tell.
Do you have a picture of your baby tiel.

I breed cockatiels and i can usually tell what sex my babies are gonna be.
