but the kitties had a present waiting for me when I came home for lunch today.
I do believe Zeus spent all night working on it

The kitties (Dixie, foster Aeja, and Missy) waiting my arrival

Since Aeja has only been here a few weeks Zeus is bringing her up to date on the surprise late birthday wishes for Meowmy. As you can see Aeja listens to Big Boy Zeus quite well (personally I think he's whispering sweet nothings into her ear).

And finally - the moment they've all been waiting for!!! Meowmy discovers what they are keeping secret. A present and all for me Rolling Eyes

LOL Mary_NH. That was a good post. I was thinking it was either something nice that your husband had thought up, or a cat poop or cat throw-up. Too bad it wasn't the first thought. That is very bad that he forgot. Maybe you should have a calendar up from now on in a room he is often (i.e. the kitchen) and have all important dates marked. That way he will never forget.
