My newest additions !!!

Ok. So our breeder friend Rayna finally got here Thrusday afternoon!
I was expecting my new female Vader, and out pops this cutie pie!!! Her name is Faith (was Gunar). She was the pic female of the litter and she thought I would be intrested in her. How could I NOT be after I gave her a good lookin' over??? OMG. She's the sweetest cutiest and most correct puppy. Shes got great structure and her disposition is just sooo sweet!

Sooo Instead of one new addition, I have two!!!!

So here they are!

Heater's DV D'Arc Vader

Vader is a bit shy of me at the moment, but she's coming around. She had a rough first couple of days. We almost lost her to a heat exhaustion/ stroke the second day she was here.
We left for about an hr and a half maybe 2 hrs max, and came back to check on them before going to the Mall, and she was layin in her pen... luckily we knew what to do and brought her temp down and cooled her off. She came right out of it and was up in no time. Oddest part is she was ready to play with the other dogs and puppies only an hour after getting sick!!! She's one tough girl! I guess coming from Colorado where there was snow on the ground, to Texas where its still 90 took its tole on her pretty quick. So for now she's a house dog! LOL

Aw, they're gorgeous Sam! Good thing you got back in time for Vader, I always worry about that with my dog's outside, but they seem to be adjusted to it since they've been here their whole lives. Coming from Colorado to Texas is probably a BIG change, lol, doesn't seem like it ever cools down down here.

Well thanks yal!!
Ummm Pounds of dogs..uh lets see... Precious is 91.6, Boe is 178, Vader is 91, and kabuki is 118, and little faith is 32lbs... LOL... OH and we can't forget Mickey! (ok, so he's not my dog but lives here with us!) and he's right at 42lbs. So I've got...a total of 552.6lbs of dogs!! LOL

Precious is doing great! We just got back from the vet with Precious and Vader and Vader has no ill effects from the heat stroke. Kidneys and liver functions are all normal, and urinalisis turned out fine... blood looked great and all levels were normal. Her estrogen and progesterone levels were slightly elevated, she'll probably be coming in to heat soon (so lock down for her!!! ) Nooooo puppies from her just yet. LOL

Precious had the blood test done, I'll get the results in a few days, and she was palpated. Uterus is definately enlarged and nipples have begun turning pinkish and puffing up a bit more than usual. So Hopefully everything is good! I'll do a ultrasound in a few weeks to see if we can see any skeletons and get an idea of how many are in there (if there are any).
Other than that, everything is going great! I'm having sooo much fun with these guys.,
Vader has really loosned up and settled right in. We let her run with the pups and Boe in the evenings. Precious is alpha, so is Vader, so we keep them appart. I dont' want any fights and have already had a fence fight between her and Kabuki. So all three girls have to be kept separated. Very frustrating, but females are just like males, they don't tend to like the same sex. Luckily Boe is a ladies man and the ALL love him!!!
