Hey a little help?
I got a new foster today, a little black persian named Diva. She is very cute, not purebred because her coats not as long, but still has an extreme face. She was returned to the rescue I foster for because she was having problems and the girl did not have time to work them out. I am happy she returned her to the rescue like she is supposed to, but think it's a bit strange she's a student, studying to be a vet!!! Anyways, is anyone familiar with this breed? She seems to be quite the loud breather, snoring while she is awake! Is this normal? |

Could just be because of the deformed face, but it wouldn't be a bad idea to have the vet check her out for a respiratory infection or some other serious problem.
Two of my cats (Turkish van & British shorthair) snore really bad and often sound a bit weezy even when they're awake, but their problem is just allergies.
