My son has a tiny little dog called a Prague Ratter. When I say tiny, I mean it is a third of the size of a cat! He says it originates from Czech Republic, and is a very ancient breed. Also the smallest dog in the world. As far as he knows there are no others in the UK? Can anybody tell me more about them? Does anyone else have one?
Pauline.

Hey, I was actually looking to get a pragur ratter when I was diciding what kind of puppy to get. I did alot of research on them and my friend knows somebody who has one. anyways, they are very active, lively little dogs. They were originally used for hunting and killing rats. hey're very smart social dogs. most prague ratters are good with kids. thats about all i know about them. I never actually had one. They're alot like miniature pinschers, and chihuahuas. well, I hope I helped you alittle bit.
From what I know, prague ratters are great dogs for families.

Hi Nicole. Thanks for your reply. I agree that they are very sociable little dogs, and very active for their size! The one my son has follows him everywhere, and whimpers if he has to go out without her! In the cold months she has to wear little outfits to preserve body heat, as they do not tolerate cold too much! But soooo cute!

I have got a male prague ratter. Brought him over from Czech Republic with me. Would you be interested in breeding them? I already got contacted by a czech guy living in the uk, who is desperately looking for a pup and I have got lots of people here in Ireland begging to get one. Unfortunately I donīt know anyone with a bitch.

Do you know anyone in Ireland with a prague ratter?? We live in Galway.
