do they stop growing at 6 months of age...or 1 year?
Mini is almost 6 months old. she is very small compared to other cats i have had. so i am wondering if this is her fully grown size or if she is going to be bigger Smile

cats tend to stop growing at 1 year of age, and then 'fill out' another year after that.

female cats tend to be usually quite smaller then males tho, this depends on breed as well there are exceptions.

Sometimes it depends on the breed. I've read that turkish vans (like Romeo) take 4 years to reach their full size. Romeo is 2 years old and still hasn't filled out yet.

I wonder if neutering cats make them grow larger like human eunuch's do.

Serious question! Don't laugh! I just never thought about it before.

depends not only on gender but on breed too! my friend has a coon and those things just keep getting bigger and bigger!

I'd wait a good year and a half tho - 6 months still seems a bit too young to stop growing.
