No ,you are right and I don't think reverse sneezing either ,I was just trying to explain the sneezing better .

Malti~

I hope you didn't view my post as though I was pointing fingers at you saying you were wrong...DEFINITELY not! Just wanted to put that info. out there for the sake of information!

Didn't mean to offend you if I did! Sad

I know what you mean!!! The very first time I heard it in one dog at the shelter, I literally flipped out, I had no clue what it was! Thankfully a vet thoroughly explained it to me, and now when I hear other dogs do it, I know what to do, and don't start panicking like I did the first time! Wink Although, for anyone who has never heard it before, and doesn't know what it is, it is CERTAINLY one of the most frightening things to experience!!! Shocked

Have a great evening! Very Happy

That Thought never entered my mind .I just cannot explain something very well if I have not experienced it more than once ,you did a good jo with that .I still think she needs some penicillen and some clavamox or something STRONG . And also needs something to help with that cough ,honey and lemon and peppermint will help ,right now anything would help if it is still hacking ,it has to be hurting .And a dog without shots is a dog looking to be even more sick cause they do not have the immunity they need and can catch anything .I would personally take it to the vet and say ,keep it and treat it until better and while you are at it ,give the shots and watch it for a few days .However most cannot afford that bill ,so I would seek another vet and another opinion and get the baby the meds it needs and fast or it will continue to get worse .Some antibiotics just don't work with every dog ,But right now is the time to be trying them out .

I agree with you 100%!!! Your the best That poor baby's throat must really be sore with all that coughing! Crying or Very sad I think a third opinion would be in her best interest as well...something really needs to be done for her pup since nothing has been working so far, and since there hasn't been a firm confirmation on her ailment!!!!!!!!!

Let's hope things get better for Prncess and her pup! Very Happy

Amen to that Shihpoo ! Hope and pray that baby gets better !
I have a fit and get nuts when I have a sick one .Can't do a thing hardly for checking every 5 minutes .I worried sammy to death almost and now I am doing it with Lady .I can't 'think ' when one of mine is ill .I know what I should be saying but it doesn't come out right .
And I get lost in the middle of any sentence ,I just can't 'think ' about anything but my baby . Does that seem awful ,cause I already screamed at my husband and friend both today "Get away from me " cause I can't cope I guess .I can imagine what Princes is going through if that baby is still coughing .I would be beating down my vets door by now .He knows it too ,I have done it many times .

No Malti, it actually says a lot (in a positive way) ...it just goes to show that you sincerely care about your dogs!!! Your the best I remember how incredibly hard it was for me to see Mickey & Tigger in the least bit of pain after they were neutered. They were given pain meds, but still, I knew that they were still in some pain (not a lot), and it just broke my heart! Crying or Very sad
