Hello I'm new here. We have a 2 year old pitbull mix, and I was wondering if ya'll had any ideas as to what he could possibly be mixed with. The humane society said they had no idea what he could be mixed with, or if he is at all. His vet said that he couldn't really tell because the pitbull gene was so dominant. I don't think he is pure bred, for some reason his snout just seems to be longer than most pits I have seen. I would appreciate any imput ya'll could give me. Here are a couple of pics;

If I had to venture a guess, I'd say Greyhound or Whippet.

I love these 'guessing games' Very Happy The first breed that popped into my mind when I opened the first link was Great Dane. I had a Dane mix years and years ago and there is a very similar look to him, just in the way hes standing, the shape of his head, ears and that tail.....my dogs mom was a full breed Dane but we were never really sure who the father was, people mistook him for a Pit Bull, I dont recall seeing many loose Pits in the area although there were a lot of Staffys.
