bought one of those bark enders that put out a high pitched noise when there is unnecessary barking
dog is supposed to not like hearing that sound and will curb their barking
well............
my dog doesn't even react to it lol
she perked her ears and looked around then started wagging her tail!
her barking has gotten very out of control when she is with me
and yes i have tried everything that has been suggested to stop it and nothing has worked, was hoping that this would help but i guess it goes up on ebay now
my friend bought a shock collar for her dog because she's going thru the same thing i am with the dog barking constantly at her but her dog is also humping her
i don't know if i could ever use a shock collar on sandy |

| I had simliar problems with Annie when she was younger. I also tried all the conventional methods I could find. I eventually did get a shock bark collar for her due to neighbors complaining and being threatened with fines in my apartment complex. I wish I would have gotten it sooner. It worked very well. It had graduated levels of shock and she never went past the second level. I put it on myself to try it out and it was not painful. She wore it on and off for about a month and now it sits unused in the closet. Once the habit was broken she didn't need it and conventional methods worked to curb it when ever she started to think about picking up constant barking again. IF you are interested I'll dig it out and see what brand it was. IT also had an automatic shutoff if the dog didn't stop after so long. |

It's a PetSafe Premium Bark Control Collar.
The only warning I give with it is to make sure you take off your dog's other collar because tags will set this one off. I felt very bad the first time I did that and she got an undeserved shock.
Here's a link to their site:

I think I got mine for about $60 at PetCo. |
