is it ok to use medacines to treat ich on knifefish. i bought rid ich+ i was just concerned if it would harm my clown knifefish

I believe they're scaleless which means they're sensitive to most ich meds. I think the instructions for RidIch say to use 1/2 doses with scaleless fish but don't quote me on that though; confirm with the instructions.

I recently got done treating some clown loaches (also scaleless) for ich. I used Maracide and didn't have any problems. Heck, there were even a couple of common ramshorn snails in there too and it didn't bother them either.
