i just got a baby red ear slider i am kleeping him in a 2 gallon and i would like to noe anything i can about him

First off get a larger tank. Turtles are messy and red ear sliders get up to 10"-12" so your 2 gallon isn't going to cut it.

you need at least a 50 gallon and i cant imagine your lighting is good in a 2 you need full spectrum uvb/uva and you need a heat lamp you should really be a little more reptle expirced before you make an uniformed purchase if you do ont get him a bigger tank and propper lighting soon like 3 weeks tops he/she will die or will devlop MBD
