Hello I am Scarlet and i have 4 great dogs. I own 3 Fila Brasileiros and a Schnauzer/BC mix. My Filas are Curluppa but Curl for short who is a 7 year old male brindle, Honey Bear who is a 4 year old fawn female, and our newest addition to the house is Twist a 13 week old dark fawn male puppy. Our Schnauzer/BC is named Pixie and is a 5 year oold female old girl.
My husband and three children ( we have an 7 year old son, 5 year old daughter, and anouther 2 year old daughter) also share our home and farm. We raise cattle for meat and our dogs are trained in the driving and guarding of cattle. But at the end of the day they are just good old pets and love bugs. Their spoiled rotten and I would never call them farm dogs as they are so very much part of the family. They all 4 sleep in the house at night and travel with us where ever we go.
So i am glad to be here and hope to hear about some of your bonds with your pets. |

Hi and Welcome! just read your other post about your Filas, boy I cant even imagine having 3 dogs that size under foot! I have learned of so many breeds new to me here. The other recent one that I think is in the same family as yours that a few people have here is the Boeboerl (sp).
Curious, you say you also have a schanuzer bc mix? what does the BC stand for?

Hi and welcome!
It is odd, just last week Dukesdad was asking about Fila's!
But Boerboels are another type of Mastiff |
