My kitten is 5 months old and she wakes the entire house up at 5 am every morning to eat. She gets feed 2x a day and scarfs the food down. What can I do to be a ble to sleep in the morning without her waking me up?

how much are you feeding her those 2x a day?
You might want to leave some dry food out for her for her to snack on during the night.

I know exactly what her problem is...She's starving!

Kittens aren't supposed to have a scheduled feeding time because they're growing so quickly and nutrition is important right now. Same reason why they seem to sleep all day. Just leave a dish out with some food and she wont meow anymore.

yes..i agree with OnixRevolution, there should always be food available for them to eat whenever they feel hungry. dry food is the best to leave out cuz it wont go bad if left out for awhile. good luck with ur kitten.

I agree. I leave dry food out all the time for my kitties.
Let us know if it works. Good luck. Smile

I do leave extra dry food out for her all day, but she just scarfs it down to fast and is hungry later.

do you offer her wet food at all? Maybe split up a can throughout the day to help fill her up.
