Hi firstly could i ask where you purchased this hird as he/she should not be away from his parents as he/she will not be fully weaned until 8weeks old.
Young birds will experiment tasting new things as they get older and start to relax in there surroundings.
Usually the female is the only one the eats the cuttlefish bone but the males will also try it.
At 6weeks old he will need to be kept in a room that is constantly kept at a warm temperature as he is still very young.
Since you have only had him/her for 2days give him a few more days to settle some birds settle straight away some take a few days some can take weeks to settle completely.
I would not worry that the bird is not touching the cuttle bone or mineral block, Make sure he/she has a good quailty bird food and fresh fruit and vegtables daily.

Any good parakeet seed, Also give millet spray but not all the time as this cantains alot of fatty oils.
You can also give him/her those fruit treats they are a combination or seed honey and bits of fruit, You can hand these in the cage and the bird will happily peck away at them.
