Just curious if your cats ever pant????
I can have Hunter running all around the house and he will start panting...
Also, at times I can hear him breathing....
sometimes when he drinks water he'll cough a little...
I was reading about feline asthma...but I don't think that's it...
Whenever he's been to the vet, she hasn't noted anything wrong with his breathing at that time.
Just curious |

Artemis always pants when playing really hard. I just get him to erlax a bit. I'll play less intensive games with him when he gets really wound up. He also pants when he's outside on hot days. I just give him water (or take him in). He also pants when he's nervous, but I've heard that cats smell better through their mouths so it helps them sort out their surroundings.
I don't think it's anything to be alarmed about. |

| Several of my cats pant after playing...seems pretty normal though. My vet thought that Tiddy might have mild asthma because his breathing was strange at times even when he was'nt playing. |

yeah..Max also pants after running..or playing. i think cats pant when they are overheated. Max pants if he went outside and it was really sunny and hot. he goes right back inside and drinks lots of water |
