Anyone else had a fish fall down the drain?

My little sister was cleaning out her fish tank before and as she was transferring her fish from a jug (which she was holding over the sink) to a plastic bag, she noticed that her little tiny one had gone missing. We came to the conclusion that it had fallen down the drain. So if you forget about the "Oh how sad" factor, it is quite funny and I was wondering if anyone else has experienced something like that

almost one time when i was cleaning a betta's bowl. thats why whenever i am by a sink with fish i always make sure the hole is plugged before i start work.

First, poor fish. Sad

I've never dropped any fish down the sink, but I s**k up one of my frogs with the gravel vac once. She got 1/2 way up the larger tube and managed to stop herself by pushing out all 4 legs. She was stunned, but otherwise okay.

And about a week ago I was moving my 5 gallon tank. I netted my betta so I could drain the tank all the way and he flopped out of the net and fell 4 feet to the floor (tank was on a book case & I was standing on a step stool). He's fine, though.

When my platy first had her fry I was trying to net all of them and move them into a seperate tank. They were so small, though, that they could wiggle through the holes in the net. I might have just counted wrong, but I think that I lost one somewhere either on the counter or in the sink.

And one of my newts got loose once and climbed into the sink, towards the drain, but I noticed to quickly.

Eh, aquatic beings are much craftier than one would think.

I've never lost one down the drain; I always put a net over the drain first. But I did have one flip out of the net into the waiting jaws of my Malamute. She was just standing beside me, and I'm sure she thought I was tossing her a cookie.

i had a clown goby that i was acclimating to a new tank. and i was pouring the majority of the water out of the bag so i wouldn't overflow the tank when i dumped him in. i hadn't even begun to pour the water when he jumped out of the bag and landed nothing but net, right down the drain...

yeah i called up my LFS buddy and he laughed for a good 30 min and then gave me another for thier price. which was amazing. i got the first one for $10 and they pay $2.71 for the little thing. and that's the cheapest place in town. they also carry the best stock of anyone within 50 miles.
