hey i hav a convict nd idk how to sex it can u help ???

Females should have orange on their bellies. Males will also have longer, more pointed fins and, when they're more mature, a hump on their forehead.

Also males are longer and skinnier, while females are shorter (bout inch shorter) and are more oval shaped then males (i personaly think a healthy female looks better then a male)

If your convicts develop a tourquise (Glowing bluish color) on the top or bottom fins means they are healthy, if there black stripes look more like grey, they are either stressed or unhealthy.

Pink convicts are slightly diffrent from the noraml striped. And you just got a weird convict.

O, and how big is your convict. It has to be a certain size before u can sex it, they will not start to develop the diffrent features untill they are at LEAST 1 inch.

Will the females start to get orange on their bellies at 1 in or is it the other differences?
