Which do you prefer? Barn or run-in? and why?

Run in shed, mainly because it's cheaper than a barn, with less up keep and it's really all you need, unless your horse is a show horse.

Yeah we are planning on building a run-in shed. I haven't actually purchased the horse yet but I am still looking!! lol I was just wondering what others had. I have heard so many bad things about keeping a horse in a barn. We have a "barn" that my dad built but we will use that for hay storage and we are storing some of our things in there. lol So there really isn't room for a horse anyway. Shocked Thanks for doing my poll!
