I have a problem I love guinea pigs and have had two in the past but I am allergic to dust and the substrates KILL me, I freeze them and that works a little the best i can do is take allergy medicane can I use astro turf or what are some options?

Have you tried Carefresh? Its made from left over paper products that can't be turned into paper and would be burned instead.

I usually have a problem with wood shavings but haven't had a reaction to Carefresh.
