www.greatdanelady.com www.nzymes.com

Please go to these sites and read about the importance of human grade dog food and other supplements to make your dog the best it can be. I am sorry to say I have had my 12 year old Yorkie on Science Diet (even I/d) all of her life and she has battled stomach problems (vomiting blood and having bloody mucusy stools) and allergy all of her life until now. Teatment each time was antibiotics and steroids (until next time). I just switched to Eagle Pack and I'm giving her nzymes and oxy drops as well. I have been looking for a Holistic Vet as well, but there are none within 50 miles.

Lilli was getting cyst. We had two removed during teeth cleaning, but then another popped up on her head and this one was removed by using oxy drops.

She likes the food, I get it at dogfooddirect.com and it is sent to me free of shipping and tsx.

Hi Lina,

I used SD dog food years ago with my Dobe's until we started running into some of the same problems you mentioned.

We switched over to Solid-Gold dog food wich is a Holistic feed Co. and it realy help a lot.

Currently we are 100% natural feeders (No Kibble)combined with the rite suppliments. And our dogs have never been healthier the differents in the too feeding programs Kibble vs Natural are like night & day.

Those are 2 site you put up are very good, below are a few more that I think are worth a read.

Hey, I used chicken soup. I thought it was a very good feed. I switched from that to canidae but only cause canidae is easier to get.

My dogs loved the samples of Chicken Soup that I got and I had my cats on it for a while....they did well on it. I've used Pinnacle in the past but not the Trout formula and Natalie did really good on it. Both brands are good choices IMO.

I buy Chicken Soup for my dogs.
It is not easy to buy though. Only certain dealers sell it.
When it is not easily accessible, I buy Purina Pro Plan.
I tried cooking certain recipes that I had gotten on line, (actually I posted them the other day on another thread) but I must say that I truly hate to cook and my family was beginning to get jealous because I was cooking for my dogs and not them!!! So I went back to Chicken Soup!!! The dogs love it. Sometimes I add an egg and olive oil to their dog food too.
