I posted the link to a new forum & it was immediately deleted. Why is that? I said nothing offensive & did nothing wrong. I simply posted a link for APBR's new forum because they need members.

Hi Meka,

The thread was deleted due to it being just a link to join another forum.

This goes against our posting rules. One can post an informative message and include a link to informative pages but when one goes to a store and asks all customers to leave and go shop at another store.....well you just don't do these kind of things. Not here anyway. Auspet is not a promotion stage for other web sites.

Meka- you are taking this offensively.. I would like you to email me the link jsut to check it out. (hafkel@hotmail.com) However, you really have to see their point. It would be like a 1-800-COLLECT commercial advertizing 1-800-CALL-ATT, or wearing Nike's in an adidas commercial. Ya get what I am saying? You don't advertize another groups, forum, message board or mailing list on another one. Say some of these people do go see it, and decide they like it better-- well even just that one person, it is taking from Auspet's members. Auspetian never meant it to be rude or to be an a** about it, it is just that they have a board to keep up and it can hurt this board to advertize other's. Hope you understand..

I do see where they are coming from..... But the way I see it... I'm member of like 5 boards. Sure I have some I like much better than others, but I continue to be a member & participate in all of them, because they all have different topics, etc... & some are way more helpful than others. I just don't see it as a problem, posting a link to another board that is trying to promote the Pit Bull.

I agree Meka. On many boards you see links to others ones. NOT advertisements, I don't think of them like that. Why should one worry about loosing members. All the boards I'm a member of I visit regularly.

i would have to agree with Meka and true_pits.. auspet isnt makin money off the board so its not an advertisement.. i ivist other boards regular and all of them help me out.. i think it would be better for the pit bull community if people did see other boards.. shouldnt worry about losin members.. cuz when you lose some, new member always come.. i thought the reason for this board was to promote the pit bull as well as other pets.. not jus this board
