BARF does sound like the best you feed but if your like me and don't have time for that then check out canidae, its for all life stages and one of the best kibbles. http://www.canidae.com/
some other good kibbles are solid gold, chicken soup, innovia, wellness. Those are just a few, but I still say canidae is one of the best. When I start weight pull training I'm might try solid gold Mmillennia Beef & Barley Adult Dog, heres a link for that, http://www.solidgoldhealth.com/products/showproduct.php?id=5&code=150\
hope that helps, tell me what you plan to do with you puppy/dogs and I'll try to help more.

our dogs eat a mixture:

a constant self feeder of Purina One, and then a home cooked meal 2 times a day with meats (unseasoned and cooked) veggies, ie..carrots, lettus, cabage, peas, corn,ect...

we also feed them whole milk and whole wheat bread.

Eggs are a must as well, scrambled, not raw. This will add extra shine to any dogs coat.

I feed my dog Authority brand dog food from PETsMART and I swear by it. It has no by-products in it and it is NOT a filler dog food. My boy only has about 1 or 2 stools a day and he is in great shape and a beautiful shiny coat. I suggest you check it out.

Eukanuba is a goood dog food, kinda expensive, but good. I also feed my dogs Raw ground beef, eggs, rice, and a little bit of the dog food. I mix all the ingredients and make it into balls, about the size of tennis balls. 8 balls a day for adult dogs.
