my bird flew off of my shoulder and landed on my hamsters cage. as i walked over to get her the hamster bit her one of her toes. she was bleeding so i washed it with some water but i was just wondering should i do more is there any thing else i should do for her? please help asap thank you

Hey, i would notify a vet ask them what to do see if they want your bird to come in and get checked. Otherwise keep if from infecting, make sure its not bleeding anymore.how bad is this bite? So i reccomend calling a vet. -kyle

First I would kill the hamster- stepping on it is the best way to kill one so it will never happen again, than put some Vaseline on the Birds foot and than call a vet.

i thought this was a site to help animal owners take care of their animals not kill them. but i dont know

Hi i would have to agree with kyles about checking with your vet incase of infection.

AlmightyVingspan, Killing animals is not what this site is about we are here to give advice and care on animals not killing if you like the idea of killing animals please find a site that will tolerate that sort of behaviour.
