my oscar is sick and i need to medicate my tank. is it safe to use paragone with my aquarium plants(amazon swords). i need the plants to keep down the nitrates. help please IP: Logged |

If you need to medicate your tank, make sure that you are treating the fish for the right disease. As far as I know, the only way to keep nitrAtes down is to do water changes. Plants can add oxygen to a tank, but not when the lights are out. If you are worried about your plants with the meds, then keep them in another tank while you cure the disease. IP: Logged |

hay the med's that you probly are going to use will mostly damage the plant in the long run of they stay in the tank because it will make the plants change colors from the chemicals in the med's i think that it would be a good idea to put them in another tank talk to you later. IP: Logged |
