I am looking into getting some bumblebee gobies for my ten gallon tank after I find a home for my cichlid (if I can convince myself to part with her). I will be planting the tank and adding some fake driftwood and rocks. I know they are brackish fish and I was wondering if anyone had any tips on how to turn your tank brackish. Do you just add aquarium salt or is it a special kind of salt? Also, are small puffers compatible with the gobies? Thanks! IP: Logged |

Puffers tend to be very aggressive, so I wouldn't recommend mixing them with anything else. Here's a couple articles on setting up brackish tanks: http://badmanstropicalfish.com/brackish/brackish.html http://www.aquariacentral.com/faqs/brackish/ -Chelle [This message has been edited by t_chelle16 (edited 03-01-2004).] IP: Logged |
