Heres what you do Put on a Barry White CD, turn the lites down low, open a bottle of red wine and wait for the magic to happen. Sorry could not resist that one. i am sorry. IP: Logged |

Sounds like a typical male, female relationship to me. You need to make sure the female is full of eggs. During spawning the male wraps himself around the female and squeezes the eggs out. If the female is not ready she might be crushed to death. I guess that's where the term having a crush on someone came from. IP: Logged |

heres what me and my boyfirend did...we got three females and a male and a new 5 gallon tank. we then decirated it with lot of ground based and floating plants....we then ook an plastic water bottle and cut off both ends. Then placed the female inside so the male could see her but not attack. you can tell the female is ready with eggs by her sides buldging and a white plug thing will appere o the underside between her fins.....the male should see her flirt and flare then start his nest...once the nest is at a good size remove her from the bottle( don't disturb the nest) they should then do thier thing. then remove the female...the babies will hatch...then once they can swim remove the male....babies or fry will love live floating plants it helps them hide and feeds them mind you you should still feed them liquid and dry fry food....this is a very short version of the way i breed my bettas IP: Logged |
