I just put my goldfish in my tropical community aquarium. It is 20 gallons. I keep the aquarium at 76-80 degrees. I have heard that this will shorten their lifespan. Does anyone know how much it will shorten their lifespan by? Thank You!!

i have found... that changing the fishes environment really risks death... now... some do some dont its just on how health or how well the fish can adjust... its like when you first buy a fish there is a warrenty for the first x amount of days... cuz the store knows this... ive found that when i move my fish from pond to tanks or vise versa i usually end up losing fish.. when i first put my pond in i stocked it with 60 gold fish... in less then 5-6 months i had around 10-15 fish left and they are still there to this day... i also found the older they are the harder it is on them.. i recently adopted 3 nice sized gold fish and only one made it... but they were in a small 20 gallon tank for 2 years or so...
