I have some silver $$$ and they eat your plants so buy some frozen herbore-vor-us food for fish they are pecalfull as but may bug fish but your lemon tetras will be fine because they are in a group but get less silver $$ then teras to stop fights ------------------ [This message has been edited by spaz_9871 (edited 01-01-2004).] IP: Logged |

Hi mightyone_5, As a rule Silver Dollars aren't aggressive. Every now and then you run across one that is a fin stripper. I've kept silver Dollars in a Tetra tank with Strawberry, Bluberry, Penguin (Tuxedo), Buenos Airies, Black Skirt and Bleeding Heart Tetras without any problems at all. I WOULDN'T keep Silver Dollars with any of the Neon or Cardinal Tetras. They would eat those. If you will keep some Romaine Lettuce or Leaf Spinach in the tank you'll be surprised at how fast they will grow. [This message has been edited by kc5gvn (edited 01-01-2004).] IP: Logged |
